Snodland Chess Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to Grandmaster.

We are a friendly, welcoming club and we can provide free coaching to take you from beginner to winner! We particularly welcome junior members.

We have teams in Kent County Chess Association and English Chess Federation competitions.

Soriah wins B-league.


Soriah Williams has the won the club's B-league competition for 2006-07. Well played Soriah!

Soriah is currently on a perfect score in the B-league and cannot be caught by any of her competitors, with everyone having one or two games to play. This is a brilliant performance and means that Soriah is likely to be in the A-league next year. Soriah is the youngest competitor in club competitions and she beaten all of the older (and more experienced) players in the B-league that she has played.
