We are a friendly, welcoming club and we can provide free coaching to take you from beginner to winner! We particularly welcome junior members.

Presentation Evening

I have just found some photographs of the Presentation evening taken by Neil Miners on 13/06/13 which show the Chairman, Rob Thompson presenting trophies to the following Trophy winners:-

Blitz Chess Championship 2013

Congratulations to George Hollands who won Snodland Chess Club's Blitz Championship 2013, with the excellent score of 11/14. Runner-up was David Lettington with 10/14 and in joint 3rd place were Matt Bunn and Matt Gazes, both on 9/14.

Harvey Cup team qualify for Semi-Finals


The Harvey Cup team made sure of home draw in the Semi-Final with a solid draw against Weald of Kent Chess Club. Snodland took a 3-1 lead but were unable to hold either of the remaining games.
