Snodland Chess Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to Grandmaster.

We are a friendly, welcoming club and we can provide free coaching to take you from beginner to winner! We particularly welcome junior members.

We have teams in Kent County Chess Association and English Chess Federation competitions.

Come and join us! New members welcome!




Snodland Chess Club always welcomes new people, whether you are 8 years old or 80, a complete beginner or experienced player.


The new chess "season" is about to begin, so now is a great time to come and visit us!


We play lots of friendly games as well as competitively in the Kent leagues. We can provide free coaching for beginners and we are happy to give lots of advice to new players.
